Naracoorte Regional Sports Centre Masterplan

Consultation has concluded

Update

The Naracoorte Regional Sports Centre Masterplan was adopted at the Council meeting held on 28 April 2020.

An allocation to progress preliminary design and survey work has been included in the 2020/21 draft budget.


Background

In February 2019, Council engaged Tredwell Management Services to undertake a Masterplan for the Naracoorte Regional Sports Centre facility.

The aim of the Masterplan is to:

  • Provide direction for the long-term sustainable development and utilisation of the Sports Centre site and facilities, and
  • Identify strategies and priorities that address the community needs in relation to the Sports Centre.

To help with the development of the plan Tredwell Management undertook extensive consultation with Sporting Clubs and organisations that utilise the Sports Centre and distributed a community survey. All aspects of the initial consultation were well supported.

Community input is now being sought on the Masterplan.

Have we got it right? Will the Masterplan assist Council and other stakeholders to achieve a high-quality regional level sporting community hub?
