The Order Making policy outlines how Council will use its power to provide for the welfare, well-being and interests of the community and to take measures to protect the district from hazards as well as improving the amenity.
The Policy has been reviewed and updated to take into account the changes made to section 254 of the Local Government Act with the commencement of the Local Nuisance and Litter Control Act and the removal of section 299, Vegetation Clearance from the Local Government Act.
To clearly show the suggested changes additions to the policy are shown in red and deletions are shown with a strike through and highlighted in yellow.
