Lucindale Township Master Plan

Community Input Needed!

The Naracoorte Lucindale Council has commenced development of a Master Plan for the Lucindale township. Council’s aims and objectives are to work with the community to redesign and revitalise the Lucindale township to achieve a public domain of exceptional quality which meets the needs of the residents and the broader community well into the future.

The public domain incorporates all the public open space including all open spaces, recreation reserves, the township entrances, key street corridors, footpaths and potential linkages to schools, recreation, commercial and industrial facilities.

Council has appointed a consultant team including MasterPlan Town and Country Planners and Outerspace Landscape Architects to work together with Council and the community to develop the plan. The methodology to be employed by the consultant team is built around extensive engagement with the community of Lucindale.

The consultant team recently visited Lucindale and has undertaken initial consultation with the community which occurred from 20 May 2019 to 22 May 2019.

Any members of the community who were unable to attend the consultation sessions or who wish to provide further feedback to the consultant team are invited to provide written submissions to Council by Friday 14 June 2019.

CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.

Thanks for the opportunity to contribute to the Lucindale Master Plan. Unfortunately we can't be at the community events and appreciate being able to comment online.

A group of Lucindale community members has been holding initial discussions about designing and building a multi-purpose community sporting facility at the Lucindale football oval/netball courts. We understand that this has been raised at the community events.

We're very supportive of this initiative and are keen to see it included in Council's Lucindale Master Plan.

Thanks,
Peter & Louise Stock
