Lease of community land at the Naracoorte Aerodrome
Consultation has concluded
Naracoorte Lucindale Council hereby seeks public comment on reissuing four (4) land leases of a portion of Community Land for the purpose of aircraft storage and associated activities, Portion of Section 1094 Hundred of Naracoorte Crown Record Volume 5673 Folio 614, commonly known as Naracoorte Aerodrome.
The land is occupied by:
Hangar 8
Hangar 11
Hangar 12
Hangar 20
Council is proposing to reissue lease agreements with Flightek Aviation Pty Ltd for a land lease of Hanger 8 and Hanger 11, Naracoorte Aero Club for a land lease of Hanger 12, and Nonning Trading Trust for a land lease of Hanger 20.
Council is proposing a lease term of twenty-one (21) years, with an additional twenty-one (21) year right of renewal.
The lease is for LAND ONLY and all buildings and infrastructure are owned by the individual Lessee.
Before granting a lease or licence for Community Land, under the Local Government Act 1999, Council must consult the community.
All land owned by Council or under Council’s care, control and management is Community Land unless the Council has resolved to exclude the land from classification as Community Land.

The consultation period will run for a period of 21 days with consultation closing at 9am on Tuesday 28th July 2026.
