Have Your Say on Council's Infrastructure and Financial Plans
Naracoorte Lucindale Council is seeking community feedback on its Draft Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan 2027-2036 and Long Term Financial Plan 2027-2036. These plans are key documents within Council's strategic planning framework.
The Draft Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan assists Council to look after its assets in a cost-effective way at service levels which are understood and agreed to by the community. It outlines financial and technical elements - including replacement cycles and funding requirements - across 10 asset classes. These are:
Buildings and Structures
Lucindale Community Waste Management Scheme (CWMS)
Naracoorte Aerodrome & Lucindale Airstrip
Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange (NRLE)
Naracoorte Swimming Lake
Naracoorte Waste Transfer Station
Open Space
Plant, Machinery and Vehicles
Road & Stormwater Infrastructure
Technology, Communications & Furniture
The DraftLong Term Financial Plan looks at the next 10 years and sets targets for Council’s budget to achieve in terms of future expenditure and debt levels to ensure financial sustainability is maintained. It also sets out the major projects that Council intends to undertake over the next decade.

Public consultation on the Draft Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan and Long Term Financial Plan will open at 9am on Wednesday 23 September 2026 and close at 5pm on Wednesday 14 October 2026.
