The Asset Management Plans are summarised in Council's Summary Infrastructure and Asset Management Plan (IAMP), which is a key document guiding the direction of Council.

The purpose of the Asset Management Plans are to ensure Council maintains and renews its existing assets in a financially sustainable manner and plans for the known future. Due to the nature of local government and the high level of long-lived assets that Council is responsible for, Council's Asset Management Plans are integral to the development of a robust Long Term Financial Plan.

The Long Term Financial Plan provides an indication of Council's predicted financial position for the next 10 years, based on known information at the time of the development.

These documents will be reviewed on an annual basis.
