Leasing Community Land on Naracoorte Aerodrome

Background
Feedback is sought on:
Leasing Community Land - land occupied by Hangar 10 (one third, part thereof) at the Naracoorte Aerodrome
Council is proposing to enter into a lease agreement with B&F Longbottom for the parcel of Community Land identified as:
Part Section 1094, contained in Crown Reserve Volume 5673 Folio 614 or 139 Doolans Road, Naracoorte SA 5271, located on the Naracoorte Aerodrome
The land is Crown Land under the care and control of Council and the permitted land use is:
Licensed Aerodrome, with surplus land used for motorsport and grazing activities.
Council is proposing a lease term of 21 years. with a period of extension for a further 21 years (42 years in total).
The Lease is for LAND ONLY and all buildings and infrastructure is owned by "The Hangar Syndicate".
Why is Council consulting the community?
Before granting a lease or licence for Community Land, under the Local Government Act 1999, Council must consult the community.
All land owned by Council or under a Council's care, control and management is Community Land unless the Council has resolved to exclude the land from classification as Community Land.
